Indonesia’s Directorate General of Immigration has made the All Indonesia app mandatory for all foreign tourists entering the country. The requirement, which came into full enforcement in late August 2026, consolidates what were previously multiple separate arrival forms - the e-health declaration, customs declaration, and immigration pre-registration - into a single digital workflow.
What Is the All Indonesia App
All Indonesia is the official government-issued mobile application available on iOS and Android. It was launched in 2025 as an optional digital tool and is now a formal entry requirement for all tourists arriving at Indonesian international airports and land border crossings.
Through the app, travellers must complete:
- Immigration pre-registration - passport details, intended entry point, accommodation address
- Customs declaration - goods being brought into the country and declared values
- Health declaration - confirmation of current health status (basic questions; no COVID test required as of September 2026)
Completing these steps in the app generates a QR code that immigration and customs officers scan at arrival. Most travellers completing the form in advance are processed significantly faster through the immigration hall.
How to Register Before You Travel
- Download All Indonesia from the App Store or Google Play - search “All Indonesia” and look for the official Directorate General of Immigration logo
- Create an account using your email address and passport number
- Complete the pre-arrival form for each trip (a new submission is required for each visit)
- Submit no earlier than 14 days before arrival and no later than the day of your flight
- Save your QR code - take a screenshot as a backup in case of connectivity issues at the airport
The form takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. Fields are in English as well as Bahasa Indonesia.
What If You Arrive Without Completing the App
Officers at Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport, Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta, and other major entry points have iPad kiosks where travellers can complete the registration on arrival. However, this adds time and joins a separate, slower processing queue. Completing the form before you fly avoids any delay.
Visitors on visa-free entry (from countries including the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, and most EU member states) must still register through the app even if no visa application is required. The app registration does not replace the visa-on-arrival process for nationalities that require one - it supplements it.
